Web Interface Viewer
In order to implement test scripts that interact with a website’s GUI, an automation engineer must capture information into an interface definition. An interface definition is a collection of maps that allow the automation to find windows and controls. TestArchitect refers to these as interface entities and interface elements.
Web Interface Viewer is a powerful and friendly support tool that allows you to inspect, verify and save all or parts of an interface definition, and to explore HTML elements on many kinds of websites.
- Web Interface Viewer is not available on TestArchitect for Linux and macOS machines.
- For applications running in desktop web browsers, Web Interface Viewer currently only supports Chrome.
