This topic lists additional software requirements needed to perform web-based testing.

Mobile web testing

• Testing Safari on iOS:

  • iTunes (for Windows or macOS) must be installed on the machine used as the test controller. You can download it from: http://www.apple.com/itunes

• Testing the built-in browser on Android emulator:

  • Supported Android emulators:
    • Android SDK Tools, available from: http://developer.android.com/sdk/index.html
    • Genymotion, available from: https://www.genymotion.com/download/

• Testing Safari on iOS Simulator:

  • Xcode must be installed on your macOS machine.
